The Houghton Lake High School Class of 2005 send their mortar boards skyward after receiving their diplomas during commencement exercises in the school gymnasium Sunday afternoon. Of the 118 graduates that crossed the podium, 57% earned the honor of wearing a gold cord signifying a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
