Columbus radKIDS Escape Abductions

More than two dozen boys and girls graduated from the radKIDS program Saturday at Calvary Christian school.

The program through the Muscogee County Sheriff's Department teaches children how to get away from abductors.

In radKIDS, these five to eight year olds learned to scream, kick and punch their attacker and then call 9-1-1.

rad stands for resist aggression defensively.  The parent of one of the children in this radKIDS class is giving a thousand dollars to help the Muscogee County Sheriff's Department get training and staff to offer this program to more children.

If  you'd like to contribute to bring this child safety education program to Columbus, call Bob Wilkens at 653-9050.
